…. The Rest of The World Catches a Cold!”

 

That is the old saying anyway!

 

We are indeed living in a small world with a global economy and, apparently, sharing the same tissues!

 

Confession, this article was going to be titled, “When Pigs Fly!” but it seemed too cavalier.  

 

The recent international reaction to the Swine Flu is but a simple reminder that our world is growing smaller; meaning our opportunities are more reachable and therefore more broad and vast.

 

“How?” you say.

 

Simple; if 500 people getting sick in Mexico can lead Egypt to slaughter 300,000 pigs; our world is shrinking.  Borders, distance, language and culture become secondary to information; awareness!

 

This is an information world!  Who you know; who you communicate with (not who you touch) is THE single most important factor in business today!

 

A reputation; an affiliation; contacts, etc.. are EVERYTHING!

 

Is your organization sending the right message; employing the right people; deploying the right strategies?
