I read today where indictred former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich was denied rpermission to travel to Costa Rica to tape a show in the jungle. U.S. District Judge James Zagel refused to modify terms of Blagojevich’s bail to allow him to leave the United States, saying he needs to remain in the country to help his attorneys formulate a strategy for his defense.

Blagojevich had sought permission to appear on NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” — a program similar to “Survivor.” Contestants will be plopped down in the Costa Rican jungle to perform sweaty physical tasks and scheme to avoid elimination.  So, let me get this straight; a man facing prison for a multitude of crimes needs to be told that preparing for his own defense is more of a priority than traveling to a third world country as part of a reality show “Survivor” spin off?  I think even if the judge were to allow him to participate he should be disqualified from participation in a reality show based on a lack of experience!

Remember Rule Number Three (3) from the “Get Out of Bed and Go to Work!” manual:  “You must know what time it is?”  —  This rule simply means you must be grounded in reality and objective awareness of your place (and time) in the world.

For good ole’ Rod we have already determined that is NOT in the Governor’s Mansion in Illinois, nor is it in the jungle in Costa Rica; perhaps a federal prison?

Now THAT! is an experience.
